ISA100 Wireless Compliance

The Wireless Compliance Institute (WCI) developed the ISA100 Wireless standard for industrial automation. The ISA100 Wireless standard (formerly known as ISA100.11a) features superior battery life, short latency, interoperability, scalability, and designed for ease of use and deployment. As of September 2011, ISA-100.11a-2011, “Wireless Systems for Industrial Automation: Process Control and Related Applications,” has been approved by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) as a publicly available specification.

Developed based on the same IEEE-802.15.4 standard as ZigBee, NTS-AT has also been selected by WCI as an authorized certification lab to perform testing to the ISA100 Wireless specification. Conformance testing provides assurances to end-users that registered ISA100 Wireless devices will interoperate and adhere to their requirements. Devices which successfully complete certification, can receive the "ISA 100 Wireless Compliant" logo.

Manufacturers who are interested in getting their products certified can contact NTS-AT for more information
